Overview

We’re looking for a part‑time Spanish Bilingual Peak‑Time Teller who is excited about daily work. UW Credit Union’s Fitchburg branch is hiring a Spanish Bilingual Peak‑Time Teller and welcomes you to apply! As a Spanish Bilingual Peak‑Time Teller, you will play a vital role for both teammates and members. Your job is to positively impact members’ lives by accurately and enthusiastically performing a variety of transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front‑facing member service at the Fitchburg branch.
  • Achieve balanced scorecard results aligned with Members for Life.
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge of all UW Credit Union products and services.
  • Ensure all member requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures.
  • Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified and communicate with affected members.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships by building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, and submitting referrals.
  • Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
  • Team player who can confidently jump in where and when needed.
