Guest Service Representative (PT) – Graduate by Hilton Madison

Join Schulte Hospitality Group as a Guest Service Representative (PT) at Graduate by Hilton Madison. You will be an energetic, experienced, and hands‑on member of a hospitality team that values service culture, respect, authenticity, and positive impact.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition.
  • Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities.
  • Escorts VIPs to rooms and checks them in prior to arrival.
  • Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile and transfers as needed.
  • Responsible for issuing and counting the morning and end‑of‑shift cash bank. Ensures all cash drops comply with cash handling procedures and reports all cash over/shorts to management.
  • Maintains a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Assists with lobby activation as needed.
  • Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
  • Follows the checklist for check‑in/out, retrieving necessary identification documents and payment form on arrival.
  • Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
  • Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
Education And Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year in front‑desk operations.
  • In‑depth knowledge of hotel front‑desk operations.
  • Minimum of high school education.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
  • Excellent time‑management skills.
  • Understanding of hiring process (phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, potential employment assessment).
