SSM Health is seeking a physician leader to serve as Associate Medical Director of Gastroenterology for the Wisconsin region. This 0.1 FTE leadership role complements your clinical responsibilities while providing strategic oversight and operational guidance across the specialty area. The Associate Medical Director will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to drive strategic vision, exceptional performance, and evidence-based practice.

- Joint Commission-certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Responsibilities
- Define and implement regional care standards, including clinical guidelines, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives that support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Provide oversight of the clinical care delivery team and ensure consistent, high-quality care across the region
- Collaborate with administrative leaders to establish and execute the strategic vision, goals, and objectives for the clinical program
- Monitor and guide regional financial performance to meet budgeted targets and support sustainable growth
- Facilitate bi-directional communication between frontline teams, regional leadership, and system-level stakeholders
- Promote alignment of care delivery models and best practices across the broader SSM Health system

Qualifications
- Board-certified physician with demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, quality improvement, and healthcare finance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
