Job SummaryThe Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work is hiring for one lecturer position to teach the following course during the 2026 spring semester in the full-time Master of Social Work Program (MSW):
Social Work 636, 'Social Work in American Indian communities:
The Indian Child Welfare Act'
In this role, you can expect to:
- Prepare an approved course syllabus in the context of the School's curriculum design and in light of any accreditation parameters.
- Hold regularly scheduled office hours.
- Construct, conduct, and grade appropriate course assignments (exams, papers, quizzes, etc.).
- Invited (advised) to attend faculty meetings with voice, but no vote.

Key Job Responsibilities- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction

CompensationThe typical starting salary for this full-time position is $16,700, which is prorated from a full-time, 9-month annual salary of $50,000, and may vary based on qualifications and experience.
Required QualificationsMinimum of two years post MSW practice experience and expertise in the Indian Child Welfare Act
Preferred QualificationsRecord of excellence in teaching courses in the subject area and/or related work experience
