Choral Director​/Sabbatical Replacement

CHORAL DIRECTOR/SABBATICAL REPLACEMENT FOR SPRING 2026

Edgewood University is seeking candidates to direct two choirs on campus for the Spring 2026 semester:
Chamber Singers (MUS 230) and Edgewood Chorale (MUS 330).

Selecting repertoire and leading weekly rehearsals of the two choral ensembles (Chamber Singers: MW 2 – 3.50 PM and Edgewood Chorale: T 7–8.50 PM) as well as conducting the choirs in two shared concerts. Additional responsibilities include assisting concert coordination and educational logistics (purchasing music, defining call times, preparing syllabi) in collaboration with the concert manager and campus concert coordinator.

Necessary Education or

Work Experience:

Qualified candidates must have at least an undergraduate degree in Music or Music Education and a proven teaching record in the field of choral conducting or choral music education.
