Overview

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is searching for a Senior SAT or ACT Tutor for online assignments with one of our awesome chapters. The Position: ACT Full Test Tutor.

Location:

Learning Center. Classification:
Contract (1099).

Hours:

3-12 hours/week. Compensation: $35-$45/hr.

Provide ACT tutoring focused on all sections, administer full ACT or SAT practice sessions as appropriate, relate effectively to adolescents, and support students in achieving their college goals. Maintain a high standard of instruction with a solid curriculum and training resources. Manage tutoring sessions as part of an established learning center with predictable assignment flow.

• Strong ACT (28+) and/or SAT (1310+) scores
• Earned Bachelor of Arts/Science degree
• A track record of tutoring all sections of either the SAT or the ACT (or both)
• Experience with adolescents and teaching the SAT and ACT; ability to relate to teenagers
• Strong academic background with solid grades in high school, college, and graduate school
• Passion for teaching

• Tutoring rate: $35/hr-$40/hr
