Adjunct Instructor – Biology

Description Of Job

The Biology Department invites applications from instructors interested in teaching introductory cell biology (including lab) and a microbiology lecture in a face‑to‑face format.

• Plan, implement, and grade formative and summative assessments in lecture and lab.
• Work with other instructors to ensure alignment across course sections.
• Maintain an updated course site in the online LMS (Canvas) throughout the semester.

• Master’s degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field;
  PhD preferred.
• Previous experience teaching at the college level is highly preferred.
• Demonstrate active support for the college mission by working with faculty, staff, and students to embody the core values – truth, compassion, justice, partnership, and community.
