Orchestra Director​/Sabbatical Replacement

ORCHESTRA DIRECTOR/SABBATICAL REPLACEMENT FOR SPRING 2026

Edgewood University is seeking a qualified candidate to direct the Edgewood Chamber Orchestra (MUS 350) for the Spring 2026 semester.

Responsibilities:

• Select repertoire and lead weekly rehearsals on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
• Conduct the orchestra in two concerts.
• Assist in concert coordination and educational logistics, including securing sheet music, providing seating charts, defining call times, etc., in collaboration with the concert manager and campus concert coordinator.

Job Qualifications:

• At least an undergraduate degree in Music or Music Education.
• A proven teaching record in conducting or music education.
