• Design and implement project‑based learning experiences using the EL Education curriculum.
• Integrate character development (CRISP values) throughout academic content.
• Utilize the extended school day (8:00 am‑4:30 pm) and year‑round calendar for deeper learning.
• Assess and adapt instruction to meet diverse learners’ needs.
• Prepare students for high school success and college/career readiness.
• Guide middle schoolers through critical developmental transitions.
• Create classroom cultures that balance academic rigor with social‑emotional support.
• Lead student‑driven learning initiatives and encourage intellectual risk‑taking.
• Collaborate with support staff to address individual student needs.
• Model lifelong learning and professional excellence.
• Drive school excellence.
• Participate in curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Engage in collaborative professional learning communities.
• Contribute to our research partnerships with UW‑Madison.
• Support school‑wide programs including athletics and extended learning academies.
• Build strong partnerships with families and community.

• Bachelor’s degree;
  Wisconsin teaching license preferred or commitment to obtain.
• Experience working with middle school students (grades 6‑8).
• Deep content knowledge in core academic areas.
• Understanding of adolescent development and middle‑school best practices.
• Commitment to project‑based, student‑centered learning approaches.
• Leadership Qualities:
