Coach; Academic, Life Skills, Community Engagement

Mansfield Hall is interested in connecting with coaches who enjoy working directly with students and supporting growth across academics, life skills, and community engagement. This is a general expression of interest for future coaching opportunities across Mansfield Hall programs and locations.

Coaches at Mansfield Hall provide direct, relationship-based support to students in areas such as academics, independent living, social communication, and community involvement. Coaching roles vary by program but share a common focus on consistency, mentorship, and skill-building.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group coaching and support
• Assist students with organization, scheduling, building habits, and goal follow-through
• Support academic skill development and structured study time
• Coach life skills such as time management, hygiene, room and apartment management and self-care
• Facilitate social engagement and community activities
• Document student progress and collaborate with director-level staff
• Participate in evening, weekend, or on-call coverage as part of a team rotation

Strong coaches often bring:

• Experience supporting students with diverse learning or social needs
• Comfort working in dynamic, residential or campus-based environments
  
  Student-centered, ethically-boundaried professional capacity
• Flexibility, patience, and a collaborative mindset

A bachelor’s degree is required. Prior experience in coaching, tutoring, student support, or related work is strongly valued.
