Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer
Join Realta Fusion, as an Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll design and power the systems driving next-generation fusion technology. Where cutting‑edge engineering meets the future of clean energy.
Realta Fusion is a rapidly growing start‑up developing compact magnetic mirror fusion energy systems to address the biggest challenge of our time – tackling global climate change while ensuring a sufficient energy supply for at least ten billion people on (and off) earth. We are building a team with diverse talents dedicated to making fusion energy a real solution to humanity’s most pressing problem.
The Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer will work with Realta’s engineering and scientific teams to deliver Realta’s technology development roadmap. The Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer will support sponsored research activities on the Wisconsin High temperature superconducting Axisymmetric Mirror (WHAM) device at the University of Wisconsin and will be a critical member of the team designing and delivering Realta’s prototype fusion energy machine Anvil, and Realta’s fusion R&D facility, the Forge.
Responsibilities- Support designing, assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and support of operations of high voltage and power transmission systems for driving pulsed electrical loads for WHAM, Anvil, and the Forge.
- Support assessment of power quality studies when necessary.
- Contribute to designing, procurement, construction, and commissioning of high‑power electrical systems to drive pulsed loads (
