Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our A&BE team as a Mechanical Engineer in our Madison, WI;
Milwaukee, WI;
Denver, CO;
San Diego,CA; or Tampa, FL offices.

Responsibilities Include

• Using 3D BIM software for design, coordination and plan development of mechanical piping and air systems
• Preparing reports and studies related to mechanical systems
• Selecting, specifying and estimating costs of mechanical equipment
• Performing load calculations and/or energy analysis
• Conducting periodic construction site inspections
• Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position

The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following

• A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering
• At least four years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
• A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

• Leading mechanical design of building projects
• Designing supply, return, and exhaust systems
• Performing load calculations and/or energy modeling
• Revit
• Designing plumbing systems

Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
