- Provide technical phone support to customers and field service personnel worldwide for Bruker AXS products.
- Perform system repairs and maintain repair documentation of customer material and return to stock parts from the field.
- Provide input and create service bulletins and other technical documentation.>
- Configure computers and peripherals as required.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of service training classes.
- Assist in the development and updating of technical maintenance manuals.
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve hardware and software problems in the field. Ensure Corrective/Preventive Action Reports (CPAR) are submitted as necessary.
- Ability to travel, as necessary to support field operations. Up to 50% travel.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Motivated self-starter.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- High level technical hardware and software skills related to complex instrumentation.
- Strong competency with complex systems and technology to include electrical/electronics, mechanics, software, and chemistry technology.
- 2- or 4-year degree in electronics, physics, chemistry, related sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Military training in technical fields is a plus.
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full‑time position is between $28.38 hourly – $36.06 hourly and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job‑related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
