Supplier Quality and Development Engineer

As a Supplier Quality Lead Engineer, you will drive quality for assigned suppliers, implement quality plans, utilize supplier scorecards for continuous improvement, select suppliers through qualification processes, and own supplier audits and results. You will also execute Part Quality Plans and site‑wide initiatives, and lead broad projects spanning multiple suppliers with high business impact. This is an individual‑contributor role with leadership responsibility across multiple projects in the supply base and production.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead technical projects and process‑improvement initiatives.
  • Manage Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development, including supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers toward industrial standards of excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to raise quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively while partnering with global stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Tackle issues requiring sound judgment and knowledge using quality engineering methods such as root‑cause investigation and part qualification.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supplier Quality or related fields.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship will be provided.
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience in electronics, circuit boards, cable and harness manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in plastics, fabrication, and machining.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience with PPAP, part qualification, CAPA, and new product launch.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing engineering, R&D, and quality.
  • ASQ or AIAG certification.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or related technical disciplines.
