Description
The Electronics Technician will support engineering teams in the testing and development of electronic components for automated instrumentation. This role involves hands‑on work with electronic assemblies, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the development process.
Responsibilities- Assist engineers with testing and development of electronic components.
- Perform soldering and assembly of electronic parts, including surface mount and through‑hole components.
- Utilize test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot PCB issues.
- Read and interpret schematics for wiring and component placement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of testing and repair activities.
- Proficient in soldering techniques (surface mount and through‑hole).
- Strong understanding of electronics and circuit functionality.
- Experience using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
- Ability to read and work from schematics.
- PCB troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent (2‑year program).
- Hands‑on experience with PCB assembly and repair.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 – $27.00 per hour.
