Structural Estimator

What You Will Do
  • Review enrich data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare quote sheets.
  • Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
  • Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard labor and material rates.
  • Consult with sales, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Manage the estimating database and update material and labor costs to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and identify discrepancies.
  • Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures.
  • Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in estimating, cost analysis or project management preferred.
  • Skills in analytical thinking, problem‑solving and technical expertise.
  • Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands in an office‑based setting.
