Structural Estimator

What You Will Do- Review enrich data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare quote sheets.
- Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard labor and material rates.
- Consult with sales, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Manage the estimating database and update material and labor costs to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and identify discrepancies.
- Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures.
- Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in estimating, cost analysis or project management preferred.
- Skills in analytical thinking, problem‑solving and technical expertise.
- Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands in an office‑based setting.
