Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project.

This position also works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure theproper implementation of project elements.

• 1. Completing due diligence and site investigation
• 2. Site and infrastructure design including street plans (plan & profile, cross-sections, etc.), grading anderosion control plans, stormwater management facilities, sanitary sewer systems, water distribution systems, and storm sewer systems
• 3. Quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• 4. Preparation of specifications
• 5. Preparation of permit applications
• 6. Construction administration and observation
• 7. Assist in the development of plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D

• 1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 2. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other civil engineering design tools
• 3. Ability to work well independently or on a team
• 4. Knowledge of construction activities

• 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• 2. Previous intern or co-op experience in the civil industry is preferred
• 3. 1-2 years of civil engineering experience is preferred

• 1. Professional Engineer License (PE) for the State of Wisconsin is preferred

• 1. This position requires sitting at a desk and working at a computer for a long period of time
• 2. Some work may include fieldwork
• 3. This position requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

• 1. Hi-Visibility clothing should be worn on job sites and in the field as necessary
