Equipment and Automation Engineer

Support the launch, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturing equipment, including new and existing automation systems. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining Solid Works designs, drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOMs); supporting PLM requirements; developing assembly procedures; and coordinating prototype sourcing with vendors.

The role involves equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, failure analysis, design reviews, first article inspections, and non-conformance investigations. Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO, CAP, and CLIA requirements while maintaining accurate documentation.

Candidates should be able to identify process improvements, manage multiple priorities independently, communicate project status effectively, and support custom equipment development.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Solid Works design and BOM management experience
• Experience creating engineering drawings and troubleshooting mechanical equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel up to 10%
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
