Work ScheduleFull-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Shifts scheduled Tuesday–Saturday 8:00am–5:00pm. Hours may vary based on operational needs of the department.
Job DescriptionCome provide diagnostics, instrumental and non‑instrumental assessment, and treatment to complex acute care patients in the areas of feeding/swallowing disorders, speech, language, communication, and cognition.
We are seeking clinical fellows who demonstrate strengths in the following:
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information from a broad-based fund of knowledge in medical communication and voice science and disorders.
- Ability to engage in evidence‑based problem solving.
- Motivation to achieve an advanced level of clinical competence in prevention, screening, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with voice and swallowing disorders.
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a multidisciplinary medical setting.
- Self‑evaluation resulting in actively identifying steps to develop new skills and acquire knowledge.
- Ethical, responsible, and professional conduct.
Fellowship starts on 9/7/26 and is 13 months in duration, ending 10/1/27.

- Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from an ASHA accredited graduate program.
- In the process of obtaining a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology.
- Wisconsin state license to practice as a Speech‑Language Pathology Clinical Fellow.
- Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator.
- Practicum (student) experience in a medical setting (preferred).
