The Family Health Educator is a committed individual who provides health education and support services to the community in the areas of Family Health, focusing on childbirth and related topics. This position provides a crucial link to the hospital and prepares families for childbirth, their hospital stay, and early postpartum period in our family-centered care environment before they transition home.
This position will provide flexibility in scheduling.

Education- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, education, or related field
- Experience in Postpartum or Labor and Delivery
- Certification as a childbirth educator
- Able to incorporate different methods of learning into groups, including the use of all types of audio‑visual equipment.
- Remains current with all learning applications, evaluations, and meetings throughout the year.
- Must have the confidence and capability to interact effectively with course participants
