This is a part-time, 75% FTE position. Scheduled hours are 7:45am - 3:45pm on Saturdays, 8:00am - 4:00pm on Sundays, and 14 hours made up when available during the week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Patient Transporter – Senior to:
- Function as a lead worker and technical expert for a team that provides transportation services to inpatients who need to be moved to and from nursing units and various therapy/laboratory areas throughout the University Hospital.
- Coordinate the movement of patient transport equipment (wheelchairs and stretchers).
- Ensure the team understands and practices all relevant safety policies and procedures and provides for patient comfort and safety during transport.
- Address phone and on-line patient transport requests and coordinates their team’s response via the Patient Transport information system.

- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- One year of relevant direct clinical patient care experience (Required). Six months of experience as a UW Health Patient Services Aide may be considered to meet this requirement.
- CPR certification or the ability to receive certification within 60 days of hire (Required)
