Position: Neurodiagnostic Tech I

90% to 100% FTE. 36/40 hours per week. All shifts, Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. No mandatory shift changes and no call. You may be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus (pro‑rated based on FTE). Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Work

Schedule

• Day: 8‑hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM
• Evening: 8‑hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM
• Night: 8/10/12‑hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 PM and 7:30 AM

Pay

• This position may be eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus (pro‑rated based on FTE)
• Additional components of compensation may include:
  • Evening and night shift differential
  • Weekend differential

Neurodiagnostic Tech I (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech)

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech I (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) to:

• Conduct basic electroencephalograms and evoked potentials as well as observe, learn and assist with more complex electroneurodiagnostic testing.
• Scan through EEG data and create samples that will be saved for future reference.
• May perform diagnostic testing procedures like electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS), long‑term monitoring for epilepsy (LTM), and intensive care unit and continuous EEG monitoring (ICU/EEG)

Qualifications

• Eligibility for graduation within the next three months from an approved school of Electroneuro diagnostic Technology Required or
• Two years combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Electroneuro diagnostic Technologist or other clinical certification with similar patient care experience Required or
• Five years combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Seizure Monitor Technician or performing similar work Required
• Graduate of an approved school in Electroneuro diagnostic Technology by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation and in the process of obtaining registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneuro diagnostic Technology in Electroencephalography. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
• In the process of obtaining registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneuro diagnostic Technology in Electroencephalography Preferred
