Job Overview

Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) at University Hospital in Madison, WI. 90%–100% FTE, 36–40 hours per week. All shifts, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. No mandatory shift changes and no call. Sign‐on bonus up to $10,000 (pro‑rated based on FTE). Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

• Day: 8‑hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM
• Evening: 8‑hour shifts between 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM
• Night: 8/10/12‑hour shifts between 7:00 PM and 7:30 AM

• $10,000 sign‑on bonus (pro‑rated based on FTE)
• Evening and night shift differential
• Weekend differential

• Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, analyze, and prepare descriptive reports following procedures.
• Complete daily laboratory operations with high‑quality patient‑related procedures that adhere to guidelines and technical standards.
• Interact with patients and families regarding procedural direction and information, developing patient rapport and confidence.
• Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal recordings, adapting procedures to particular clinical circumstances.

• Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program (required).
• Four (4) years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation from an electroneurodiagnostic tech program.

• 1 year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneuro diagnostic Technologist (required).

• Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneuro diagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) upon hire (required).
• CPR/BLS certification upon hire (required).
