Work Schedule:

100% FTE, day shift, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday position, with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00AM to 5:00PM, though hours can vary slightly depending on patient census. You will work in the Proton Therapy Clinic at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Our Proton Center will be opening in Spring 2026. This candidate will join fall of 2025 to be trained in proton therapy, create workflows and aid in development of new program standard operating procedures.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position may be eligible for a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking a Lead Radiation Therapist to:

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for our Proton Therapy Clinic.

• Be a key go-to person for daily operations at the Proton Therapy Clinic.

• Be instrumental in various projects and trainings for the proton radiation therapy group.

• Simulate and treat patients in our brand new, state-of-the-art proton therapy center.

• This role would include approximately 80% clinical time and 20 % administrative duties.

• Proton radiation therapy interest required, and experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School in Radiation Therapy Technology Required
Work Experience

• 3 years of experience as a registered radiation therapist Required

• If applying for a proton lead, at least three years of proton treatment experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications

• Certified as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required

• Basic Life Support/CPR certification Upon Hire Required
