Experience:
Minimum of one year of current clinical experience in each modality License:
Current State license as a Radiographer
Certifications:
ARRT registered, registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Densitometry within 18 months of hire/transfer, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider or equivalent Must-Have: CT Diagnostic X-ray Imaging Procedures
Description:
Under the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients and performs imaging procedures. Operates imaging equipment and performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. Utilizes appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary.
Must currently work in two or more of the following modalities and meet the requirements of advanced certification:
Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. Other duties as assigned.
