Pharmacy Technician (Inpatient)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our inpatient pharmacy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing safe and effective medication management and will be responsible for various pharmacy-related tasks in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including sterile compounding.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage patient drug therapies.
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
This position requires availability for 8-hour shifts, starting between 06:30 and 14:00, and includes weekend and holiday coverage.
Qualifications- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of inpatient clinical experience, including sterile compounding, is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
