Xray Technologist position available in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves performing a wide range of imaging exams on patients of various age groups, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety and quality standards. The position offers a dynamic environment within a leading healthcare facility committed to excellence in patient care.

• Certifications, Education, and
  
  Experience:
  
  ARRT Registered Radiographer, BLS certification through the American Heart Association, State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer, graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Schedule:
  
  Day/Evening, 8-hour shifts, Sunday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM, with standby call and holiday rotation as needed, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures on adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients, utilizing advanced radiographic equipment and technology. Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in quality assurance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

  Required:
  
  ARRT Registered Radiographer, BLS through the American Heart Association, and Wisconsin state licensure.
• Travel and On-Call Requirements:
  Travelers are required to float as needed.
• Location Specifics:
  The assignment is at a Magnet-designated facility ranked Wisconsin #1 hospital, known for comprehensive patient care and advanced teaching.
• Submittal Requirements:
  Pass/fail testing with strict criteria, including a telemetry exam with two attempts. For adult exams, 100% identification of lethal rhythms and no incorrect answers regarding third-degree heart blocks are required.
