Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Technologist / Cath Lab Tech – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts (8-10 hours), including 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM rotations. Every third weekend on-call with 30-minute response time.

Highlights:

• High acuity, high volume cardiac catheterization laboratory performing diagnostic angiography, complex PCI, structural heart procedures, and STEMI interventions
• Opportunities to cross-train in a growing Pediatric and Adult Congenital Invasive Cardiology Program
• Work with a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team in a Magnet-designated, nationally ranked facility
• 6-room cath lab with approximately 20 visits per day serving patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
• 40-hour orientation with telemetry competency testing required prior to start
• Experience with advanced procedures including TAVR, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology techniques

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of Cardiovascular Technologist experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) training program required OR RCIS certification required
• One year of Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, or Interventional Radiology experience or CVT apprenticeship program may be considered in lieu of education requirement
• BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must pass telemetry competency exam with strict criteria (100% identification of lethal rhythms, 80% overall passing score) prior to start
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Floating to other departments as needed may be required
