Base pay range$45,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
STAFFING CONSULTANT
FINDING PEOPLE FOR JOBS, AND JOBS FOR PEOPLE.
As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies and organizations in your local market. This is a full-cycle recruiting role. From sourcing to placement, you will run the entire recruiting process. You will spend your time engaging in conversations with job seekers — over the phone, via email, or in-person — and you will coach them through the job search process.
You will also spend time with your team to discuss open positions, post advertisements for jobs, and learn to utilize online sourcing tools and resources.
Responsibilities- Identify prospective candidates via job board search tools, Linked In, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking
- Proactively reach out to candidates through cold calling to build a strong candidate slate
- Interview prospective candidates
- Prepare candidates for interviews with client companies — review resumes, discuss client needs, conduct mock interviews
- Deliver offers and manage the offer process for candidates
- Maintain contact with candidates on assignment to ensure they have what they need
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to listen, explain, and collaborate with others
- A love for working with people and a strong work ethic
- Self-motivation and tenacious drive to achieve goals
- Leadership skills and competitive drive; ability to motivate and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Discretion and independent judgment about business and candidate fit
