Location
Location: Madison, WI, USA
Responsibilities- Works with Supervisors and Vice-Presidents of the Company to determine branch staffing needs
Works with HR to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations including compliance with the company’s affirmative action plan - Identifies and uses traditional and non-traditional resources to recognize and attract quality candidates; such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, Career Builder, etc. and is the expert with the assigned territory
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and in person), administers appropriate assessments, conducts reference/background checks, makes hiring decisions and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt positions
- Completes onboarding process including new hire paperwork, entering information into HR system(s), conducting new hire training
- Manages current candidate activity flow, recruitment tracking method(s), and application/resume file and retention
- Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to recruiting
- Prompt and regular attendance is required
- 2-3 years of full life-cycle recruiting in a high volume environment, preferred in a financial institution
- Excellent written/oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations that affect the recruitment and hiring portions of employment
- Computer literate with strong Excel skills
This is an office position that consistently operates a telephone, computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Requires the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to travel within a specific geographical area with additional limited overnight travel outside of the geographic area.
Educational RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Bilingual is a plus
