Position Overview

As a member of the Corporate Total Rewards Team, the Lead Global Benefits Analyst contributes to the strategy, design and communications of engaging, meaningful benefit programs in support of our corporate objective to offer competitive retirement, health and welfare, and voluntary benefits and time away programs to attract and retain top employee talent, promote employee engagement, and foster employee wellbeing. As a member of the benefits COE team, this individual contributor will work effectively with internal stakeholders such as Total Rewards team members, Legal, Communications, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and other colleagues, as well as external consultants, brokers and vendors.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Explore concepts, develop strategies, and recommend benefits plan design changes in support of business and talent strategy for countries supported. Apply extensive knowledge of theories, practices, and design to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
  • Analyze complex issues and data to identify and resolve challenges, requiring conceptual thinking and problem-solving.
  • Develop complex benefit plan design, vendor arrangements (including research, RFPs, RFIs in partnership with consultant/brokers), and ensure employee experience aligns with strategic objectives and incorporates into plan requirements for implementation.
  • Build and manage vendor (consultants, brokers, and benefit providers) relationships set clear expectations, and monitor performance against service level agreements.
  • Lead the creation of global and country specific benefits & time away policies, including leave of absence programs by working closely with consultants, legal and outside counsel. Ensure policies meet statutory requirements and are compliant with collective bargaining agreements as applicable. Ensure global consistency and internal compliance.
  • Stay abreast of new benefits legislation and trends. Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and other laws, including accurate plan descriptions and all required materials including notifications, filings, and reporting requirements are met timely.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location. May include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or relevant work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in leading design, analysis, or management of U.S., international and/ or global H&W benefits, or retirement plans.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, legislation and statutory obligations across multiple regions.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a global/ multinational company
  • 4+ years of experience in the design of U.S. self-funded medical plans incl. contribution design
  • 2+ years of experience in the design, analysis, and/or administration of global employee benefits
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; especially Excel and PowerPoint.
