As a Senior Staff AI/ML Engineer, you will shape the future of social care in America through cutting‑edge AI, turning advanced machine learning into real‑world impact.
Responsibilities- Lead transformative AI initiatives that directly address customer pain points and instill an AI‑first mindset across the organization.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for scalable AI adoption.
- Act as a force multiplier by building production‑ready AI/ML solutions that deliver measurable value to users, then mentor teams across the company to independently explore and implement AI solutions.
- Define and build scalable AI/ML infrastructure and tools that enable rapid experimentation, streamline development, and reduce barriers to company‑wide AI innovation.
- Establish and enforce responsible AI guidelines ensuring fairness, transparency, privacy, security, and explainability in everything we deploy.
- Collaborate with external vendors and research partners to evaluate tools, models, and technologies that meet evolving business needs.
- Support go‑to‑market efforts by working with analytics and sales teams to communicate the impact and ROI of AI‑powered features.
- Translate emerging AI trends into actionable strategy, architectural guidance, and internal enablement to keep Findhelp at the forefront of innovation in social care technology.
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience building production‑ready AI/ML solutions optimized for performance, scalability, and responsible AI principles.
- Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs), including open‑source and commercial offerings, and advanced prompt engineering.
- Expertise in model optimization techniques such as retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), fine‑tuning, reinforcement learning, and pre‑training.
- Familiarity with agentic AI patterns, multi‑agent systems (including control patterns), and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Lang Graph) is a strong plus.
- Strong background in NLP, supervised learning, and deep learning, with a record of deploying impactful AI/ML solutions at scale.
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, and Huggingface.
- Experience deploying AI/ML systems on cloud platforms, ideally GCP, with a strong understanding of performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability trade‑offs.
- Deep understanding of modern software architecture, engineering best practices, and safeguards needed for scalable and secure AI systems.
- Working knowledge of modern web development technologies to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and deploy AI solutions in production environments.
- Familiarity with regulated domains such as healthcare or social care is a plus.
- Demonstrated passion for responsible AI, including principles of fairness, transparency, privacy, ethical use, and explainability.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align cross‑functional teams and drive company‑wide impact.
- Experience building from the ground up in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments, laying foundations, setting best practices, and scaling both people and technology.
- Committed to continuous learning, with the ability to stay current on emerging AI technologies and assess new tools, vendors, and architectures as business needs evolve.
Salary range: $155,200 – $232,800 a year
