The State of Wisconsin DCF is looking for ONE (1) Systems Architect III.
Location & AvailabilityCandidate must be physically located in the United States and within Wisconsin or willing to relocate to Wisconsin within 30 days of the start date.
Candidate will be required to provide their own equipment for this position.
Candidate will be available to perform all work during Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am – 3 pm (or CST hours as defined by the hiring manager).
Maximum of 30% onsite work; the position is primarily remote (90% remote, 10% onsite).
Key Technical Requirements- Expert level system administration skills for Microsoft Windows servers (10+ years).
- Active Directory Administration and other MS core services (Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, DNS).
- High‑level knowledge of Omnissa Horizon and vSphere (5+ years).
- Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), monitoring tools, multi‑factor authentication, storage and backup, Power Shell scripting.
- Certifications and support for LDAP, SSL certificates, and authentication services.

The Systems Architect III will provide innovative solutions within a diverse enterprise environment with multiple cloud services and on‑premises infrastructure components. The candidate will have expert level troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze current technologies used within the organization and determine ways to improve performance and provide stability to backend services.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the on‑call support functions for the operations team.
- Directing and managing the workload of team members and adopting a collaborative approach to gather information and manage conflicts.
- Providing leadership and subject matter expertise in the administration, maintenance and support of numerous backend systems that support the agency’s application development, design, security, integration and desktop infrastructure.
