IT Services Bureau Director Career Executive

The Department of Revenue (DOR);
Division of Technology Services seeks to hire a passionate, creative, motivated and talented manager to lead our Application Services Bureau. This bureau is responsible for supporting our business partners by coordinating projects that incorporate tax processing and business processes into their respective line of business applications.

As the director of the Application Services Bureau, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of DOR business applications that are crucial to our business partner's and the agency's success. You will need to consistently drive to improve business outcomes and service delivery at all levels within the organization. Your experience with agile development, project management oversight, application architecture and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process will be critical in achieving this.

You will also be responsible for fostering strong partnerships and collaborating with other states, state agencies, vendors and service providers.

We're looking for someone who will be comfortable working with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to set a strategic vision for our application portfolio, who can inspire change and who understands how to strategically balance department-wide technology and automation needs with the key business priorities of the department.

This position is headquartered in Madison at the State Revenue Building on Rimrock Road.
