Resource Manager

The Resource Manager will support the business line leaders in making staffing decisions that serve the client, support employee career goals, and drive utilization towards financial targets. The Resource Manager will review under-utilized billable employees and work with business line leaders and practice teams to deploy these individuals on Nordic engagements.
** Key Responsibilities
** The Resource Manager will have the following key responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:

Support Director of Resource Management to establish an enterprise-wide framework for managing the deployment of salaried billable employees’ and implement this framework across the organization.

Develop knowledge of skills, experiences, and career goals of the professionals in the assigned business line in order to factor that into staffing decisions. Make recommendations to people manager or leadership as needed to foster skill development in order to better meet client demand or to align the professional with the right growth opportunities.

Collaborate with the Resource Management team in order to identify the right person for the right role at the right time. Forecast current and upcoming resources to support a cross-team staffing strategy.
** Skills and experience
** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required,2-3 years of experience in resource management, staffing, or related field; consulting experience preferred
- Ability to organize, analyze, and prioritize
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills to an executive audience

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Power

BI preferred

Familiarity with the following tools helpful: customer relationship management (CRM), professional services automation (PSA), or resource management system
