Coffee Roastery Production Specialist

Description:

Under the direction of the Head Roaster, the Production Specialist performs various assigned duties within the production and packaging area of our coffee roastery.

Responsibilities:

Duties to include coffee blending grinding, packaging, labeling, quality assurance and light cleaning and maintenance. The Production Specialist will closely follow daily production lists and assume responsibility for accurate and timely completion of their duties.

Requirements:

• Prior food production knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Able to communicate verbally, and understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable and must demonstrate flexibility to meet quickly changing production schedules.
• Ability to work well within a team, with daily deadlines.
• Able to accurately follow directions and established formulas.
• Posses basic computation & mechanical skills
• Ability to work while standing continuously for up to 4 hrs
• Ability to lift 50 lbs 5-10 times/hour
• Ability to accept feedback and guidance, and seek guidance when needed

Up to Full Time
Salary:$18 - $21/hr + benefits
