Location:

US - Wisconsin - Madison

Role:
Responsible for the handling and processing of shipments, receiving, work orders, pick slips, transporting inventory, Kanban replenishment and maintaining accurate inventory locations and counts throughout the warehouse.

• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Fueling Systems Quality System.
• Follow detailed work instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Report problems with safety, quality, process, equipment, and materials to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Operate a powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload and load trucks.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment or production use.
• Fill and transact work orders, purchase orders, or sales orders.
• Perform cycle counts and quality checks on stock items to report defects or damage.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions with accuracy.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of changing tasks.
• Completed some moderately repetitive tasks.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• 6 months or more experience in shipping or receiving (preferred).

• Basic:
  Barcode scanner.

• Forklift Certification (preferred).

• Continual lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 10 lbs.; grip with hands/fingers.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.; push/pull; sit; bend or twist; stoop or crouch; reach above shoulders.
• Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.; stand; walk; climb ladders/stairs; use upper extremities.
• Vision and hearing requirements as described for safety and operations.

• Manufacturing-type environment with typical noise levels.
• Exposure to extreme heat, vibration, and moving mechanical hazards; occasional wet/humid conditions.
• Shift work up to 10 hours per day; overtime may be required.
• Respirator fit testing and equipment provided upon request.
