Location:
US - Wisconsin - Madison
Role:
Responsible for the handling and processing of shipments, receiving, work orders, pick slips, transporting inventory, Kanban replenishment and maintaining accurate inventory locations and counts throughout the warehouse.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Fueling Systems Quality System.
- Follow detailed work instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Report problems with safety, quality, process, equipment, and materials to Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Operate a powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload and load trucks.
- Pull and stage orders for shipment or production use.
- Fill and transact work orders, purchase orders, or sales orders.
- Perform cycle counts and quality checks on stock items to report defects or damage.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions with accuracy.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
- Flexibility to perform a variety of changing tasks.
- Completed some moderately repetitive tasks.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- 6 months or more experience in shipping or receiving (preferred).
- Basic:
Barcode scanner.
- Forklift Certification (preferred).
- Continual lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 10 lbs.; grip with hands/fingers.
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.; push/pull; sit; bend or twist; stoop or crouch; reach above shoulders.
- Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.; stand; walk; climb ladders/stairs; use upper extremities.
- Vision and hearing requirements as described for safety and operations.

Work Environment- Manufacturing-type environment with typical noise levels.
- Exposure to extreme heat, vibration, and moving mechanical hazards; occasional wet/humid conditions.
- Shift work up to 10 hours per day; overtime may be required.
- Respirator fit testing and equipment provided upon request.
