Wis Dems is nationally recognized as one of the country’s highest-performing and most pivotal political organizations. During the upcoming election cycle, Wis Dems will drive massive programs to hold Republicans accountable, elect progressive candidates up and down the ballot, and work to build volunteer-led coalitions for the long term. Wis Dems’ work is grounded in inclusion, respect, and empowerment across race, gender, other dimensions of identity, and the rural/suburban/urban divide.
Our work continues year-round, collaborating with partners to build a movement that delivers meaningful change for all Wisconsinites. We seek outstanding applicants who share our values and vision to join the team, help win elections, and build a future where everyone can thrive.
As a Regional Organizing Director, you are the on-the-ground leader of our grassroots movement in a key region of Wisconsin. You are responsible for building the volunteer teams, the local infrastructure, and the community relationships that will elect Democrats up and down the ballot. This is a manager-level role for a seasoned community organizer and coach who knows that elections are won by building durable, local power, one volunteer and one voter at a time.
You will translate the statewide field plan into on-the-ground reality, leading your team to build a strong, inclusive, and powerful progressive presence in your communities.
You will report to a Deputy Organizing Director and serve as a key strategic leader for your region. During the peak of the 2026 election cycle, you will manage, coach, and develop a team of Field Organizers. You will be the vital link between the statewide campaign strategy and the volunteers, activists, and party leaders who are the heart of our work.

- You're competitive and goal-oriented. Metrics don't scare you; they focus you. You have a track record of leading teams to meet and exceed ambitious goals.
- You are a creative and relentless problem-solver. When you hit a wall, you find a way around it, over it, or through it, and you coach your team to do the same.
- Recruit, build, and develop local grassroots volunteer teams capable of executing a large-scale voter contact and volunteer-led organizing program.
- Implement the statewide plan to build and maintain a durable volunteer infrastructure, including volunteer-led Neighborhood Action Teams.
