Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No holidays or call requirements.
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care in outpatient adult and pediatric otolaryngology settings.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to adult and pediatric otolaryngology patients in an outpatient setting.
- Assist with procedures: ear microscopy, removal of cerumen impaction, nasal cautery, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, myringotomy, hematoma evacuation, and lesion biopsy.
- Conduct comprehensive or episodic health histories and physical assessments of patients and families with acute or chronic health problems.
Minimum – For Nurse Practitioner:
Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing program. For Physician Assistant:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA program.
Minimum –
- For Nurse Practitioner:
Active RN and APNP license in Wisconsin AND active board certification as an NP in one of the following areas:
Adult;
Adult/Gerontology Acute Care;
Adult/Gerontology Primary Care;
Family; or Women’s Health. - For Physician Assistant:
Active PA license in Wisconsin AND active PA board certification. - All applicants must have:
Active DEA license (or the ability to apply prior to or upon hire); CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate from an accredited nursing program (required).
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice at hire.
- Active board certification as a NP in the area of clinical practice (e.g., Adult;
Adult/Gerontology Acute Care;
Adult/Gerontology Primary Care;
Emergency;
Family;
Gerontology; Neonatal; Pediatric Acute Care; Pediatric Primary Care; Psychiatric-Mental Health; or Women’s Health) at hire. - Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to or upon hire.
