Experience

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details

Eve/Night, 12’s and 8’s as needed,  or 1900- 0730.

Weekend and holiday rotation.

Floating - Travelers are the first.

The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization

Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Orientation

Schedule:

UWH orientation is held every other week – typically on a Monday, but not all travelers will start on a Monday even if the contract has a Monday start. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule.

Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change – traveler should follow instructions in welcome letter). Orientation is typically about one week. Additional details within the orientation section of this guide.

14 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
