Position details: FTE 0.7, Shift Day/PMs, 8 and 12 hour shifts with occasional weekend and holiday rotation. Compensation: $20.43
+ per hour. Hours per Week: 28. Benefit Eligible.
- The Nursing Assistant (CNA) practices and performs basic nursing assistant procedures learned during training/certification.
- Practice medical asepsis, respect patient dignity and privacy, maintain objectivity during patient care, adhere to hospital safety policies and procedures, and work within scope of training.
- Work under close supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Receive and complete written and oral work assignments within scheduled shift.
- Join the Neuro/Med-Surgical 45 bed unit providing care to complex neurological, medical and surgical patients (e.g., acute stroke, chronic neurological illnesses, neurosurgery, general medical and surgical patients).
- State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Currently CPR certified or eligible for certification
- Must be available the first week of employment from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM for CNA orientation
