Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Hybrid Primary Care Float (Finance) Work Schedule80% FTE, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No holidays or call. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
Be part of something remarkableAs an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in building and expanding a virtual primary care program. You'll be a part of the ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients both in person and virtually.
Responsibilities- Be a part of a virtual care team expanding access to primary care through telehealth visits
- Care for the acute and chronic needs of patients from newborn to elderly.
- Perform physical exams and manage the health maintenance needs of our family medicine population.
- Perform routine clinical procedures independently including wart removal, PAP smears and skin lesion removals.
- If Nurse Practitioner:
Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program. - If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Required – Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience.
Licenses and CertificationsMinimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
If Nurse Practitioner- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following:
Family.
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification.
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have:
Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
- Master's Degree or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program required.
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice upon hire required.
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following:
Adult;
Adult/Gerontology Acute Care;
Adult/Gerontology Primary Care;
Emergency;
Family;
Gerontology;
Neonatal;
Pediatric Acute Care;
Pediatric Primary Care;
Psychiatric-Mental Health; or Women's Health upon hire required. - Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire required.
