Nursing Assistant – Medical/Surgical (Finance) Work Schedule

.90 FTE, 36 hours/week. Evening/Night position with variable 8‑ and 12‑hour shifts, most shifts 7:00 pm–7:30 am. 1 in 3 weekends and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of the department.

  • Available $3,000 sign‑on bonus (pro‑rated on FTE).

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to:

  • Support Registered Nurses on an inpatient Medical‑Surgical unit and provide care to both medical and surgical patients.
  • Perform direct physical care, basic nursing procedures, and treatments per hospital policies: activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, intentional rounding, and performing 12‑lead ECGs.
  • Engage visitors, patients, and family members to establish a trusting relationship and deliver high‑quality care.

Qualifications
  • Graduated from a State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program.
Work Experience
  • One year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant (preferred).
Licenses & Certifications
  • Listing on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry upon hire.
  • BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
