Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in a high acuity hospital with strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience preferred.
License:
Must have a valid Registered Nurse license or compact license from their permanent address state.

Certifications:

Must be certified in BLS and PALS through the American Heart Association.

Must-Have:
- Strong Pediatric ICU experience
- Basic Arrhythmia experience required
- EPIC experience preferred within the last 12 months

Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join a highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team.
The nurse will provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families.
This position involves comprehensive care for patients with acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO.
Travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years.
Candidates with extensive Level II experience will be considered.
This is a mixed unit with both CVPICU and Pediatric ICU patients.
Floating may be required based on staffing needs.
Shift assignments may be rotated among different units within the organization as necessary.
Weekend and holiday coverage are mandatory.
The registered nurse will work in a facility that emphasizes a healing environment designed specifically for pediatric patients.
The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.
Applicants should be committed to providing expert care in a warm and soothing atmosphere that fosters healing.
