Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Hemodialysis – Wisconsin

Start Date: February 1, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start), every other weekend rotation

Highlights:

• Provide bedside hemodialysis treatments to patients of all ages requiring intensive or intermediate level of care
• Work with a multidisciplinary team in a leading Academic Level 1 Trauma Center
• Epic EMR system; 20 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratios: 2:1 during days/weekends, 1:1 during nights
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, lift teams, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin RN license or Compact license in hand at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient hemodialysis experience within the last 3 years
• Academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar-sized hospital experience required
• Experience with both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Epic EMR experience required (within last 12 months preferred)
• Basic arrhythmia experience; must pass telemetry exam prior to start
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through American Heart Association required
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and peritoneal dialysis preferred
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from work site
