Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/

Experience:

Medical, surgical, and trauma ICU experience required.

Preferred Skills/

Experience:

Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

Adult and geriatric patient population.

Fast-paced ICU caring for critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients in a Level I Trauma Center.

Advanced life support therapies include ECMO and continuous dialysis.

Team serves as emergency responders throughout the hospital.

Patient population includes respiratory patients (ARDS, ECMO), post-code care, sepsis, GI bleeds, post-op management, liver transplant, vascular surgery, and trauma.

Academic medical center environment with evidence-based therapies and research studies.

Shift & Scheduling:

Day/evening shifts with every other weekend and some holidays.
4x12s may be considered if traveler is interested.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
