American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry/IMC RN requiring WI or compact licensure and telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and PCU/stepdown experience for a night shift assignment at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

• Work in both the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit (D6/5) and the IMC Thoracic unit (B4/3)
• Night shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00pm-7:30am, Monday through Friday
• Every other weekend required with some holidays
• Floating required as needed
• Cardiac telemetry, MS/Tele, and general telemetry patient population
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty
• Telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Vent and transplant experience required
• Epic charting experience required, preferably within the past 12 months
• Trauma Level II hospital experience required;
  Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, central and arterial line management, blood product administration, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube management, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, vasoactive drip titration, insulin drip titration, wound care/wound vac, pre/post cardiac cath and surgery care, and pre/post hemodialysis management

• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to starting, including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and an 80% or higher passing score, with a maximum of two attempts before additional review is required
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond using Rapid Response/Code teams as needed
• Located at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital ranked as Wisconsin's #1 hospital
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
