Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792!

Registered Nurse – PACU (Pediatric)

Madison, WI | Inpatient

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday | No on-call required | 13–17 week assignments accepted

• Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in a high-acuity PACU setting
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and testing standards prior to and during assignment

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric PACU experience required, within the last 3 years
• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required (pending WI license with proof of submission accepted)
• BLS and PALS certifications – AHA only
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (two attempts permitted; strict passing criteria apply for both adult and pediatric rhythm identification)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted

• Experience in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center or high-acuity pediatric environment
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation, including lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
