American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2+ years MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency.

• Work in the MS/Tele unit treating primarily Orthopedic Trauma patients
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from
• Weekend rotation required (1 in
  3) and holidays as needed
• Will accept 4x12 schedules
• Floating required as needed

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care Med/Surg Telemetry experience within the last 3 years
• Epic EMR experience required
• Trauma Level II hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I hospital experience preferred
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start with strict passing criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and 80% or higher overall score

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic trauma patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, wound care, and respiratory management
• Up to two attempts allowed for telemetry exam; a third attempt requires completion of a cardiac interpretation review course
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Work at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital ranked as Wisconsin's #1 hospital
• Parking permit required if parking onsite, with alternative transportation options available
