Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical Telemetry RN – Wisconsin

Schedule: Evening/Night shift, 12-hour shifts ). Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need. Patient ratio of 1:6 on weekends. Float required to other units as needed.

• Fast-paced 28-bed medical surgical telemetry unit at a Magnet-designated hospital
• Diverse case mix including medical diagnoses (COPD, heart failure, diabetes, infections) and surgical cases (bariatric, orthopedic joints, neurosurgery, general surgery)
• Epic charting system with state-of-the-art technology and evidence-based practice environment
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
• Telemetry monitoring on unit; drips include insulin, heparin, and PCA pumps
• 20 hours of orientation provided; free onsite parking available

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (strict passing criteria with 80% minimum score and 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
